The Chattahoochee River forms the eastern boundary of the City of Valley. There are put in/take out points at the Old Shawmut Airport Boat Landing, the Langdale Boat Landing, and the River View Boat Landing. Discussion about the Chattahoochee Valley Blueway, a bi-state (Alabama & Georgia) project to create a 52-mile paddling trail running from West Point Lake to Columbus, Georgia that will include the City of Valley’s section of the River are underway.
