Blue Bell opened its Sylacauga manufacturing facility in 1996. Sylacauga is located about 45 miles southeast of Birmingham off of Highway 280 in central Alabama. Tours are available by appointment only, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tours last 45 minutes and include a serving of ice cream.
