Welcome to the ACA (American Canoe Association) beginning Canoe class at Mt. Cheaha State Park. We are delighted to offer a beginners class for the East Alabama Region and especially to partner with Mt. Cheaha State Park for a great venue. Come learn from the industry’s “golden standard” from certified ACA instructor(s) as we introduce canoe types, materials, strokes & maneuvers, safety and rescue, along with a great introduction in some of the industries best gear. The cost per paddler is $85.00 which include an introductory membership to the ACA, an ACA student packet, along with instructor(s) fee. Children under the age of 12 are free to join!
