Alabama State Parks is celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year.   In celebration, Wind Creek State Park is having a ‘day-use’ free day on Saturday, June 14.  As part of their celebration, local hardware store Lake Martin Building Supply will have a ‘Backyard Birding’ display.   Everything you need to attract some of your favorite feathered friends right to your doors and windows!  From plants to use to the best seeds for specific species of birds.   Children will have the opportunity to build their own birdhouse to take home!   The event will be at Pavilion #3 (turn L at the beach) from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.   Go ahead and mark your calendar.  It’s going to be a great day at Wind Creek State Park!!
