Please join us for the 7th Annual Cardboard Boat Races on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Lakeside Marina, Market, and Grill (rain date 5/16). The races begin at noon but the fun begins at 10:00 with a dunking booth, silent auction, and pet parade. Paddlers will compete for 26 photo plaque awards and the prized “Plundering Pirate” award for being the last boat floating with its crew inside! Admittance to the event is FREE! Bring your whole family! Grab some great Lakeside Market food, a spot on the lawn overlooking the lake, and watch the boats battle it out! Proceeds from this event benefit the Randolph County Animal Shelter and Foundation for Randolph County Schools.
