Cider Ridge Golf Club

Located in Calhoun County | What you’ll find: Recreational

Situated at the base of Alabama’s tallest mountain, Mt. Cheaha, Cider Ridge Golf Course is a par 72, 18 hole regulation golf course that is rich in views and history. Cider Ridge was originally home to an apple orchard and still features some of the remnants of the old mill. Cider Ridge Golf Course welcomes all golfers and offers many different “stay and play” packages for visitors to the area.

Designed by Alabama-based Bill Bergin, this regulation golf course is situated at the base of the Alabama’s tallest mountain—Mt. Cheaha. The front nine plays similar to a traditional parkland style course with tree-lined fairways,100-year-old majestic oaks, and streams including Choccolocco Creek. The back nine offers many rolling hills, elevation changes, mountain vistas, dense hardwood forests, and water features including Little Hillabee Creek and natural waterfall which exists on the signature hole (#12) to this day.

We welcome groups of any size and if you’re a single player, we’ll help you get a game and make new friends. But, we are much more than just golf. Enjoy a cold beverage and leisurely lunch at the Cider Ridge Grill or make plans to host your holiday party, wedding reception and ceremony, business meeting, or next special event at our club.
